If You Could Eliminate One of the 3 SAT Sections, Which Would It Be?

CR:25
Math:10
Writing:22

the answers are too subjective in my opinion

I wouldn't eliminate any really. They all test a different part of one's application. They're all pretty decent in rigor, so it's really quite difficult to remove any one.

That said: Probably Writing.

CR: 26
Math: 10
Writing: 22
I hate CR with a burning passion!

CR 27
math 10
writing22

There's no way to argue your case when 2 answers seem right. Sometimes I think I'm being too logical, or maybe I'm just a bad guesser. I'm ok with my 710 though

Wouldn't eliminate either of the 3 sections. I don't mind Critical Reading too much, the Math is very easy if you don't waste time, and Writing is actually enjoyable.

Writing. I think it is ridiculous to use an essay produced in such a short time to judge how well someone can really write. I also think that attempting to attach a number to such an essay in a fair way is just about impossible.

The essay blows. My SAT will suffer for my incomplete essay.

I hate critical reading with a passion, but the writing just has to go. Its just completely stupid and means nothing. The CR at least has some value associated with it.

CR: 26
Math: 10
Writing: 23

CR: 10
M: 7
W: 12

I hate critical reading so much, and the excerpts are soooo boring. I think math is just too easy. But CR, that's just a different story.

CR, no doubt.
CR: 28
M: 10
W: 23

CR: 29
M: 10
W: 23

Needed to study the most for CR. Damn vocab

CR: 29
M: 10
W: 24

Writing sucks just because i do not know a lot of big humongo words.. ;)

CR: 30
M: 10
W: 24

*The critical reading section is the worst assessment ever. ALL it tests is how long you can pay attention to most BORING reading material in the world before committing suicide.... and how many stupid, COMPLETELY USELESS words you know.

i am sorry but having a perfect score in the critical reading (Which I obviously did- I had 2350) is a sign that you are intellectually mature and capable of grasping wide range of info.
so it's not their fault- gotta accept it !!

..............go home nurjahan

Any way
CR: 31
M: 10
W: 24

-The CR section is waaaaaay subjective and unless they curb it more its hardly really a reflection on intellect or ability at all.

CR: 31
M: 10
W: 25

Cuz me writes essay gooder.

I'm surprised, I expected more people to hate the writing section.

Critical Reading of course!!!
To me, the answers seem so ambiguous and I run out of time a lot.

CR: 31
M: 10
W: 26

Screw the essay.

CR: 31
M: 10
W: 27

770 in Writing kept me from a perfect score :( I will have to deal with 2370.

But in all seriousness, the essay is the worst thing to happen to the SAT's (and that must be grave considering we are talking about the SAT's here) I mean come on, how can you get two different essay scores (like a 4 and a 5). That means that it is all in luck what score you get on the essay. If you're lucky you'll get a 10, if you're unlucky an 8. They MUST eliminate that damn essay. I'm done ranting now lol.
