...............

the new apple macbook...they are small, sleek and have all the functions I want.

Macbook pro. 'nuff said.

MacBook Pro 15''. I hate 17''. Too big.

Qosmio G35:

MacBook Pro, 15.4"
17" wouldn't be worth the weight, in my opinion.

I'm going to hop on the bandwagon and go with a MacBook Pro too... If money were no object it would be Candy Apple Red from Colorware too....

As much as I like the Macbook, I'd have to go Qosmio with jPoD.

acer ferrari 5000 series

BTW the qosimo's are awesome....I told my dad to get the 15.4 inch qosimo and it is great. I'd get one myself but I need something better for gaming....shame because it is a great laptop with a great screen

btw macbook fans look at the HP nw8xxx series - blows the macbook away imo (unless you wanted one for osx...)

Hmm....I'd get my 12" Powerbook all over again. I just don't like the MacBooks/Macbook Pros.

For all of you people thinking about the Macbooks, I can heartily recommend them as a former Windows-only user.

There's something beautiful about using Mac OS for daily things then restarting and booting Windows to play Oblivion.

I'm a UNIX guy and just bought a MacBook Pro. It's awesome and has replaced my Linux desktop as my day-to-day machine.

Diocletian,

Are you double booting into a Linux variant, or just sticking with Mac OS?

I don't see how the macbook can be that good compared to the Toshiba Qosmio, I want something I can game on, watch TV on, record TV on, and practically live on when I'm not out and about...btw, money is no object here

I guess I'm the lone Dell supporter...E1505

kcirsch,

Not really. I really liked the Dell I had, many years ago.

I want a tablet PC-- Toshiba Qosmio G25-AV513, Electrovaya Scribbler SC3100, Alienware top of the line among some vaios...

I don't like dell or macbook or acer, the ferrari is very overpriced

Acers are terrible. I had sooo much trouble with my acer.

well apple lappy users aren't exactly gamers, not even apple attempts to portray that

heck the macbook pro is the first apple laptop that i'd even consider gaming capable, and the x1600 in that is crippled and underclocked

Easily fixed, however.
