Camaro you're full of it the ivies don't give scholarships.

The only way your friend could have gotten a full ride is if he was dirt poor, but that would have nothing to do with his grades.

haha camaro ur coming off as the biggest jerk ever but its funny, i understand what ur saying i just would not state it as blatantly though

It's 8th grade. It's not like you're learning anything anyway.

Learn, good grades, good job, = Sexy wife

lol

The attitude among some of the posters here is sickening... if I ever get in a relationship (sigh, unlikely), it'd be real and not for "sex".

To answer OP's question: I'd say both. Girls are very beautiful, but good grades are nice.

Don't mind CamaroLover.
I think he's an internet hoax.

girls come and go but grades stay

I've always wondered how those types (popular, almost-straight-A's, class president) do it. And how they get really good grades and also hang out every Friday and Saturday. And how they get asked to every Senior Prom and find time to dance the night away on that Senior Prom weekend which is the weekend before final exams...and they still ace the exams.

Whatever. Yeah I wish I could go back and do high school over again. I know I would change some things. It makes me so frustrated that all these wonderful opportunities were handed to me on a plate and I decided to ignore them and try and go the hard way.

No. You'll have to deal with relationships, romantic and platonic, your entire life, while no one will care a bit about your HS grades once you're past HS.

Anisha08, are you just wondering where they get the time to do it? Well, I'd imagine on the days before Senior Prom they'd just review the material so that they don't have to study it that last day, silly. Hopefully you don't spend more than... say 3 hours on homework every night... ^.^ Are the students you're describing getting straight As in AP classes tho? Coz getting straight As in regular/honors classes is usually just a matter of effort.

Why can't you have both?? Grr...

I am popular and had strings of boyfriends and girlfriends until I met my current boyfriend of nearly two years. Plus, I have good grades and a really hard schedule as well as a million ECs.

Learn to balance people! And meditate, it helps.

rofl @ meditate

It does! You'd be surprised.

Well I just have bad time management (working on it though...) haha.

Meditating hella helps actually. A friend of mine taught me a hella good way to calm yourself down and its worked so many times for me. I can like slow my heart beat and stuff when I'm nervous before a test, interview, etc. It helps a lot.

Okay wow the abundance of 'hella' has practically written "CALIFORNIAN" all over my forehead. Or in this case, my post.

Omg!! It's been bugging me for 2 days what the word is that I always heard while I lived in California. HELLA!

Gah, so random lol.
