What's the ONE thing you'd do differently over the years? (Emphasis on ONE, here.)

I mean seniors and those who already know where they're going, although others are welcomed to post.

Get good grades.

man that would be horrible, i’m so glad i’m in college already

well i guess since it’s assumed i retain all my knowledge i have already, i’d probably go and join a sports team or something, because i’d already know my calculus, oh and i’d talk to people and get to know them

most likely i’d apply to a boarding school like exeter or something because i really do like college

Be more knowledgeable about the college admission process and prepare accordingly.

Live up to my fullest potential - by means of not being a lazyass.

oh, you know what else i would do, not fail abstract algebra

i learned a lot anyway and it really helped me when i got to college, but seriously there was no point, if i hadn’t been lazy i could’ve just finished it and got an A

the one, top thing, would have been to try harder. i did pretty well, but not as well as i would have liked and could have done if i had taken it as seriously as i do now.

Wouldn’t have taken an “integrated” science class.

I wish I could take the self-confidence I have now and transfer it back to my freshman self. Of course I was an entire foot shorter then, and I looked like an owl with huge glasses and tiny face.

I also wish that I went to a private school, not because it would help me get into college, because now I’m getting ready to go to my first choice on a full scholarship, but so I could have learned how to sail before I went to college (may not sound like a big deal but boating/sailing is very important to me even though I currently haven’t even been on a sailboat in my lifetime, just read books on sailing)

let me tell you. sailing is tons of fun but can be scary as ****. i once went sailing in the potomac on a very windy day and the boat almost flipped like 5 times. i dont know if youve ever seen the potomac, but i feel like if i fell in i would have probably dissolved from all the stuff in there.

Yes, I live in Maryland, I’ve seen the Potomac. I’ll probably be learning on the Gulf of Mexico, which hopefully isn’t as bad (I wouldn’t even touch the water in the Potomac if I could help it)

I loved freshman year…and sophomore year too.

I wish I knew how much more challenging high school was going to be and didn’t complain so much about “studying” for like an hour for a science test because omg, that’s just crazy. Haha. But that’s what I felt like at the time. Little did I know that high school would require me to stay past 10pm hahah. Doing hw. I just couldn’t understand that back then. But then again, I really enjoyed freshmen year…it was so relaxing, everyone was so carefree and happy. We weren’t the smartest kids…but we were happy :)

i’d play tennis

I would’ve stopped at 7-11 on 2/7/06

Try 10char.

This year, rocks, I know. You’re in Honors with all the people you’ve been friends with for 2 years, you go out every weekend with a solid group of people you really like, and other awesome stuff. I know a lot of stuff is going to change for you after this year. Your best friend will move away. Honors will end and you won’t see a lot of those people again. Your mother will move out for a while and take your most beloved sister. Your father will hit you 'till it really, really hurts. But that doesn’t mean you should give up on life! Things will work out as long as you keep trying, and you’ll be a happier, more social person for it.

I would stay away from a certain boy :)

I would transfer to another school.

I would transfer out of my Freshman English teacher’s class. Staying in it was one of the worst decisions of my life. It had a severe negative impact on my love for reading and writing, and for that whole year I didn’t read a single book outside of class or write something for fun during my free time. But I picked that habit back up during sophomore year, so it’s all good now. I’m just sad that I won’t be able to write “9-12” next to my “Writing/Journalism” EC on my applications.

Join the tennis team >><<

I joined last year and I SUCK. Maybe if I’d joined earlier, I’d be a better player.
