Harvard because my mom went there, my dad went there, and my grandfather went there. Also I want to either be on the golf team like my grandfather was or the crew team like my dad

Columbia, Brown, Northwestern, Yale, Stanford.

Duke or UPenn.

Elon University. Still aiming for it, but it would be nice if price weren’t an issue.

Scripps all the way. I pretty much love every single bit of it.

Cambridge or Oxford…
but Penn wouldn’t be so bad either <3 It was my dream school, so it’s hard to imagine wanting anything else.

Though in a perfect world? Um. I still want to go to Hogwarts…

Nevermind I change my answer to Hogwarts too.

Stanford without a doubt

UChicago.
10char.

Yale - it’s where I wanted to go ever since I actually cared about universities.

Cambridge or Oxford - LOVE England and they’re amazing.

Columbia, Stanford, Duke. In that order. I think.

Duke! And I think I have a chance there

Ahhh I have to agree with the person who said Hogwarts!

UCLA has been my dream school since i was like 9 or 10, but i dont have the grades for that school lol.

Im surprised not everyone picked Harvard/Yale.

If you’re going to be that ranking-driven, why not just say “Im surprised not everyone picked Harvard”? Is it because you want to go to Yale? How… surprising.

^

Rank driven, any sane person would pick Yale or Harvard interchangeably. The prestige between both, are negligible when compared. Yale is always only 1 rank behind Harvard most of the time. But I do not really see your point… If you looked at my previous post, most of my schools were from the top 20 universities, not top 5…

Isn’t Princeton usually ranked with Harvard and ahead of Yale? But my point was that it’s ridiculous to assume that all (or even most) students want to go to the same two schools.

^ Assuming HYP are the top 3 schools in the United States, it would be logical to assume that almost everyone thinks highly of them. However, I meant it in jest lol. No intelligent person would seriously believe that everyone wants to go there. It depends on their majors and such.

^Harvard and Yale have two of the highest matriculation rates in the country (Yale is behind BYU, Stanford and U of Nebraska–Lincoln). It isn’t necessarily ‘rank-driven’ to assume that most people on this (very high achieving) forum would choose one of them as their so-called ‘dream’ college.

Additionally, they’re popular schools for a reason. It would be foolish to think that H and Y are not two of the top schools in America, US News Rankings or not.
