I am with you, Undecided. I would pick Deep Springs College (but i am female) or St. John's College (I will attend this fall)

Yeah, if Hogwarts would accept me. I'm there. :) lol.

Right now, I'm crushing on Dartmouth and Penn.. Oh, those Ivies. But, outside of that- Wellesley!

I'm guessing none of you who said St.Andrews has ever been there. It SOUNDS great. But it's a joke compared to Oxford and Cambridge. The town is quaint, but the classes are held in a hodgepodge of delapidated buildings and run-down houses. Yes, houses...houses so neglected the most beat-up frat at Faber College looks like a palace compared to them. I was on a university-wide dorm committee, and the undergraduates were pleading that the usual practice of turning off the heat at night might be waived during exam week. Food is horrendous; maids who are supposed to clean dorms stand around smoking all day. The town is so isolated that it's a significant taxi ride just to get to the train station. There are some very sharp profs, and a good education can be had. But this thread is about which is your dream college, and unless your idea of fine dining is barely warm maccaroni and cheese, you could do much much better.

Earlham, Colorado College, possibly Fox Valley Tech College

Cambridge... only becuz i like making fun of posh english kids :P

But seriously, Caltech!

Dartmouth, Williams, Colgate, Middlebury, Cornell

dartmouth baby

UVA

(10 chars)

wharton ....

I like Dartmouth, UPenn, and Stanford.
.........................^.................^

It'd probably be between those two :P

dartmouth, without a doubt

UVA. Can't imagine why I'd want to be anywhere else. UVA lacks nothing. Big time sports, amazing parties, beautiful people, top-notch academics, an excellent reputation, a fun college town, and the most gorgeous campus you will ever set eyes on.

UChicago

and I'll be going there :)

Uchicago

I'm going there too!!=)

Aw, why?

"it'd be pretty cool to be the only guy at Wellesley"

I agree, Brass, cool in theory. But imagine if just once while you had the flu that you found out a close friend had died, and you drank too much to cope with the sorrow, and those physical and emotional traumas caused you to have some "performance problems." The entire school would know about it the next day. All of the 7 Sisters would probably know about it by the next day. Whereas you would probably be on Social Security before word that the affliction was only temporary and anomalous made its way through the grapevine.

I think if I had to pick a Harry Potter school, I'd probably fit in better at Durm-whatever (the one Viktor Krum attends). I'm evil, Karkaroff and I would be best buddies and Snape could come visit us for pina coladas.

On a more serious note - Connecticut College or Middlebury. I'm in love with both schools.
