Perhaps most large scale bad things, but besides that, most crime is not based in prejudice.

Well, yes, I meant things on a large scale. My point was that killing one person who is prejudiced would not change things on that large scale, because there are many people like this.

if i could kill ANYONE it’d prob be this whorish teacher and this chick in my grade >.<" i got a headache just THINKING abt her…

@ bob, choco, and met.

I’m not going to respond to you all individually because that takes way too much time lol.

Ok the reason that I said that racists and homophobes do worse for the world is this-
Everyone knows bin Laden’s crazy so they don’t take his ideas seriously outside of Muslim extremists. People who are racist (take Hitler for example) do it in a way that isn’t extremely overt and therefore they can convince more people to hate. Hate leads to more hate which leads to extreme violence and centuries of issues.

Racism and homophobia not only kill people, they keep rights away from people. Sometimes, a life without rights is worse than death. At least bin Laden will outright kill people. Racists and homophobes usually want to keep their victims alive, but deny them the right to actually live.

Shall I elaborate more?

Well I didn’t really disagree with you. I think you’re right in many ways. It saddens me that even in the 21st century things that horrible happen. However, it’s not just one person doing it; not only that, there are thousands standing by and doing Nothing.

^ Oh no, I was just elaborating because I said I would earlier lol. I was just responding to everyone who quoted my post is all :).

Well, there are different degrees of racism and homophobia. Some people might privately think black people are unintelligent, I don’t think they deserve to die for that. These people obviously suck, as another poster said, but their form of racism does not really harm anyone in a large way. When I was a small child (about 4) and I saw two men kissing, I was repulsed and horrified; I was afraid of those gay people. Perhaps I was a homophobe then, though I am not anymore, out of my ignorance. Ignorance breeds racism and homophobia, and these views can often be changed. Do you think that I deserved to die because I was a homophobe at the age of 4? I am no longer a homophobe; maybe the opposite of one, since I am a staunch supporter of gay marriage now. I don’t think thinking black people are dumb, or thinking homosexuality is unnatural, makes you truly evil and merits death. They are both wrong views, but they can be changed while you can’t undo murder.

Even though I don’t like telling people this…I think(?) I’m a homophobe (afraid of gay ppl). But I don’t hate gay people . I’m not bad or evil person at all…with no desire to hurt or harm anyone.

Kindaaaa ironic since I live in Minneapolis…lol.

^^ I never said I wanted to kill them. I just said they’re more destructive than a mass murderer like Osama. I don’t think people deserve to die for ignorance. Now, I would want to kill someone like Rush or Glen Beck because they not only have this hate in them, but they actively spew it to millions. They are not ignorant- they are just hateful. Does that make sense?

^ What is there to be afraid of?

^ idk…i think it’s just that in the back of my head i know that it’s already haram so why not & I’m afraid that I might catch it/turn gay or something bad would happen…idk (even though i know it wouldn’t).

^ You might CATCH it? What?! The same way that you might catch being tall from me?

^ bad word choice on my behalf…sorry lol.

I guess what i was trying to say was that i’m afraid that i might think it’s okay for ppl to be homo. Idk how to describe it, but It’s just a feeling of fear-that’s all.

You afraid that you might be ok with people being who they naturally are?

Seriously, I’m just trying to wrap my head around what you’re saying.

I guess, but even ignorant people who keep their ignorant hatred/fears to themselves aren’t really being destructive. And I don’t think people like Rush or Glenn Beck deserve to die either.

^ Well, therein lies our difference. I don’t care if you hate someone, but you can’t actively try to keep their rights away and to spread said hate. They do.

" And I don’t think people like Rush or Glenn Beck deserve to die either."

I’m just jumping in here at page 5, but how do you say someone doesn’t deserve to die when someone else kills them? If I can kill them and decide I want to (and go do it), they deserve to die. Same if Romani can kill them and decides she wants to, or if you can kill someone and decide you want to. At least in God’s opinion (or evolution’s) you get 1 life, no one deserves more than that one (no stipulations made for reincarnation, don’t know what to say for that).

In what way does anyone deserve life if they’ve been killed?

Glenn Beck’s the bomb. Together we would kill the national debt. :-)

^^ Fwiw- I’m a pacifist and I believe that even the cruelest people on earth deserve life (locked away obviously where they could hurt no one but themselves). Even if I could get away with killing someone, I wouldn’t. It’s just not in me. Even if I could press a button and they just magically die… I couldn’t do it :/

^Someone else log into your account a couple days ago?

^ No…? I’m saying if the decision ever realistically came, I wouldn’t do it. Only in my head…
