if you died today, do you think you'd go to heaven?

assuming that heaven exists.

by the way
an interesting study

[quote]
In terms of where the 50+ population believes they will end up after death, 88 percent of those who believe in heaven think that they will personally get into heaven.

When asked to give a percentage of people they believe will go to heaven, those who believe in heaven said on average 64 percent of people will go.

Yes.

10 char

Nope. My heart weighs far more, unfortunately, than that blasted feather of maat, so no heaven for me. :/

Alternatively, it depends on how I die. If I can only find someone to duel...

woah did you know that you can edit your thread titles from the main forum by clicking on them?!

Yep. I've been a good boy.

i think everyone will go to heaven if there is one

^justification?

god is infinitely understanding so he understands why everyone does what they do...and if you understand people you can forgive them because you know exactly what circumstances pressured them to act and you'd understand how they'd felt

but i don't actually know

Hahahahahahahaha.

I took the Inferno test and got placed in the 6th circle lol

Was that the city of dis? I always get placed there with, like, a SUPER EXTREEEEEMELY LIKELY level, lololol. Next in line is whichever one represents lust. ;D

yes.Because I personally know the father God and Holy Spirit. Once you broke contact with God, you become fearless of death. You begin to realize that Earth is just a temporary shelter, that our permanent home is in Holy Kingdom.

lol i'm in the second circle...but apparently it was a tie between that and circles 1, 5, 7, and 8

Dante's Inferno Test - Impurity, Sin, and Damnation

I guess God will know where I'll thrive and make more friends...

Okay, my answer really isn't about my personal belief since I don't think I really believe in a Heaven but based on the Christian belief in an omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent God, then I have a hard time believing that He would eternally damnate any of his creations "made in His image" to Hell.

Yeah, but only because I'm a URM. If I wasn't then I'd say no.

I'd say some people like serial killers, rapists, pedophiles really seem like they deserve to be tortured for all eternity just so they can feel the pain they've caused others.

but imagine the pain that might drive them to do such things...
like domestically violent people often were abused as kids
and rapists were often raped

they've probably already been punished..and they probably feel guilty already

if there's a God and a heaven and a hell then i'm going to hell because:
a) i don't believe in God
b) i don't worship regularly
c) i don't repent my sins
d) i say the Lord's name in vain
e) i don't believe in waiting until sex to have marriage
f) i believe in gay rights

Dawnie Min, how do you know they're not like Cathy in East of Eden and just born as psychopaths without a conscience?
