and Uchicago - Brown

creativemind you are reality tv material, no ****

in a good way of course

Other than for entertainment purposes, I find USNWR rankings to be worthless. Putting stock in the rankings is just one more aspect of this growing disease called "College Frenzy."

I just checked the rankings and three schools are tied for 9th (Dartmouth, Columbia, and Chicago) which means...there are ELEVEN schools in the current top ten!!!!!FGJKLGFSJKL
OH NO.
Which also means, one of those three doesn't TRULY belong in the top 10.
Well, I vote Chicago out.
Sorry, you're going to school #11.

So by what you're saying, this means you've failed?

he has failed
poor guy

You're fired,lol//////creativemind you can only get ajob at burger king if you get a diploma from a number 11 school..didn't u know that.

What do you guys give this kid his fun for the day? It's not worth it.

i think he is still realising what just happened ...

btw.. tip for the future
I hear In-n-out burger are the best to work for
followed by carls jr.
then McDonalds
after that it's a crapshoot

Good Luck ! And Remember ...
Minimum wage is for Champions !

creativemind:
The top 50 schools or so are pretty much the same because almost every year rankings deviate a bit, and yes, cornell, brown, jhu have all been ranked in the top 10 sometime in the past like uchic...(who, did i mention manipulating data?)...anyhow rankings doesn;t really matter. And so mean of you to call people in uchic idiots =( when you have a 3.0 O.o...

"people like me, from University of Chicago, is going to have a shot."

I guess you "is" right, creativemind. Where would we be without an education from a top ten school?

T R O L L !

^^ said exactly what I was going to. =)

This post is either tongue-in-cheek, or aimed to draw the ire from every poster on here who doesn't attend a top 10 school. Do us all a favor and stop feeding the fire, please.

You all know that his argument is ridiculous, so why even bother with him? Trust me, you'll feel a lot better.

I got a mental image of college reps on Survivor. Interesting way to rank them.

hahah well no offense to Chicago.
I was just creating a hypothetical situation to make creativemind bite his tongue ;]

If you do not attend any school that is not top ten by USNWR, how sorry would you feel for yourself? I experienced it once, but only briefly.

What perplexes me the most is that you present this argument yet plan on transferring to Brown (ranked 15?). So are you trying to screw yourself? There are easier ways.

Because Brown is an Ivy.

I can't believe you got into Chicago. You must be lying or they must have been high.

Haha. This is the most ridiculous thread ever. Why are we even responding to this idiot? he's obviously just trying to get angry responses out of people. But in any case i guess im screwed since i only went to UCSD and UCLA, as both are not only not top 10 schools, but not even top 25 according to US News. Oh well, i guess ill have to go work at a factory for the rest of my life for minimum wage while those Harvard and Yale graduates make millions. Damn.
