if you don't answer this i'll fade away! (university search)

does any1 know of high standard universities where i can major in business or something like that. they would have to have financial aid for internationals (i'm from ireland!).

i know this seems like a stupid question because there are so many college search tools around but when i use them i get a couple hundred different universities and colleges. As i'm an international i don't know much about american universities and i'm really starting from scratch.

also, i was wondering if any1 knows how predicted grades are treated by admissions offices. are they trusted to be accurate? i won't get the results of my leaving certificate until august the year i go to university and my junior cert results won't really show my capabilities. They will still be alright, maybe a 3.5, but i know i could have done better as i only spent a few hours on most of the subjects the night before each exam. Then i decided to go to american university :-)

Look at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. It is low cost to begin with, and gives good aid. I know that few universities have aid for internationals. The smaller colleges have more aid for everyone, so you may do better there. And many universities that give aid are really looking to give ten thousand in order to get a student who can pay the other thirty thousand.

Why don't you check out the Business Major board in College Majors here on CC? There is a lot of discussion there about different kinds of college business experiences. Then you could get some names of schools that seems interesting to you and follow up with an investigation of those schools' policies on financial aid for internationals.
