If you don't get the scholarship......

I was wondering if people generally do something if they get notified that they didn't get the scholarship. Have there been any stories where it would be worth it to call the scholarship office and maybe they will reconsider you. I know its a long shot but would that be an advisable option or is it just a waste of my time.

thanks.

If they rejected you, why would calling them up and saying “please give it to me” help at all?

I think they wouldn’t. I believe that they normally have “backup” receipts already chosen.

However, if you provide them “new and compelling” information that you didn’t submit before, they may reconsider (but, still the deadline would have long passed by now).
