If you ever became a parent...

thats really puerile. lol :)

I agree with Olive Tree on the perspective of raising your children.

puerile=fun

childish immature...........

I agree with hotpiece. Even though my parents cant put me through school I will try my best to put them through

I will be on the other side of the spectrum from my parents.....I don't believe in corporal punishment, I hate disciplinarians, I despise forcing anyone to do anything, and most of all, I ABHOR control-freaky parents.

So I'm not going to use corporal punishment (this will accomplish nothing, and in turn only make THEM abusive parents-the chain ends here.), I'm not forcing my kids to do anything (except for matters of personal hygiene-I'm not letting them not shower for a week-and health-I'm not letting them have 60 bags of skittles if they have diabetes) and I'm not going to hover over my kids. I'm teaching them to be independent, the value of education, and most of all, LEADERS. Without leadership, you will most likely hit a glass ceiling somewhere in their careers.

And I'm going to pay their full tuition for college. I'm putting them through private school their entire lives on top of that.

I dont agree with that because most people here do that and there are harldy any cases or abused children. Maybe in the US but here things are different

I dont agree with that because most people here do that and there are harldy any cases or abused children. Maybe in the US but here things are different. i wont force my kids to do anything but I will support them and make sure they do ther best.

i would make sure that my kids are grounded and able to do the things that they love. many of my friends are way spoiled and thinks that the world revolves around them, to prevent my kid from being egotistic, I would send them to a third world country when they are young so that they can see how good they have it.

i dont want kids but if i did have one, i would also have him/her be very active in sports. thats all i know for sure

I'm sending my kids to Julliard weekend precollege from the age of 6.

They'll be active in theater.

My non-existent children shall become world class cross-country skiers. Well, I guess I'll give them a choice between biathlon, nordic combined, and cross-country.
