If you get into Berkeley what will you do?

a bear (that like asking who would win, man or child?)

Me.

yakkity: WOW dude uci over ucberk, i'd rather go to JC then go to a school that sucks as much as uci or ucr.

anyways cal > ucla by FAR... (altho my opinion might change if i dont get into cal =P), but no realistically speaking, cal owns everything compared to ucla

if i get in ill be really happy and finally TRULY be able to relax

i don't know about that... i think there's hotter chicks at ucla than cal lol

If I get into Berkeley, I'll be excited and will call my friend that goes there like I promised.

I'd be like "Whoa how did that happen?" Then I'd send in my SIR ;)

go to a UCI 'honors' program over Cal?

I'd say that was the dumbest thing to do. But that's just my opinion.

Just because you don't get accepted into the Fall semester at Cal doesn't mean you won't graduate in 4 years with a Cal degree.

And everything at Cal kicks UCI's ass.

A degree from Cal is worth so much more than a degree at UCI..... assuming you do decently during your time there.

First semester at Cal is just useless general ed. classes. You can take those at a community college no problem. No one cares about English 1A and Math 1A, etc etc.

and if you really want to take that prereq class with Cal students, you can sign up through Cal Extension program.

berkeley or sd for biochem?

i'm thinking SD

berkeley or sd for bioengineering?

ah, and to answer the q: I'd be relieved. Then flush in ecstasy. Then call anyone willing to listen.

I think I might go LA over Cal tho; LA gave me Regents, which puts it up quite a bit.

mea: ucsd rules in bioengineering (3rd in the nation, only after john hopkins and duke)

If I get into Berkeley, I'll cry about getting rejected by Stanford. Then I'll spend the next four years of my life making bitter remarks about that place across the bay.

i'd definitely take Cal over UCLA for 2 reasons: 1- UCLA is way too close to home (like a 30 min drive) ; 2- my bro attends there (thus, a huge turn-off).

GO BEARS!

I would freak out because after getting a rejection and being waitlisted today, the good news would be too overbearing.

if i get accepted to cal, i will...
run up a wall
laugh at UCLA people
dive into the ocean with all my clothes on
laugh at UCLA people again, louder
finally drink this one Jones soda i've been saving for the 31st
not go to school the next day
BUY A FUGGING SWEATSHIRT ALREADY (and a mug and a sticker :))

I got into UCLA and Pomona College so if i get into Cal I would go crazy because the decision is hard enough of as it is!

AH!!!

(I would also visit the hell out of all those colleges)

I'm leaning towards So.Cal though... hmm....

Get a sweatshirt maybe?? haha

already got the sweatshirt ;) ... a key chain would be awesome :)

actually the latest 2004 rankings has UCSD tied with GaTech at #2 >=]

tgbyhnasdf: oh i was talking about undergrad bioengineering
