<p>Yes, but I believe you don’t get rejected ED, they just defer you and push the decision to RD.</p>
<p>Even if you apply ED and then get rejected RD, you can definitely apply again the next year as a transfer. Many students at Cornell are transfers and it is not hard to fit in as a transfer at Cornell.</p>
<p>Don’t expect a deferral though. I don’t know if this applies to all colleges in Cornell, but at an engineering admissions session, the guy said very few, about 15 kids from the ED pool are deferred. But then again, that could only be for the college of engineering</p>
<p>That is engineering only. I believe some schools-ILR, CALS-only defer and don’t reject ED.</p>
