What were they? I wanna see the correlation between high IQ and SAT scores.

I received a 2370 superscore on the SAT. My tested IQ was 173 at the age of 7. I’m currently 8 years old and studying at JHU pursuing my doctorate in biochemistry.

^are you serious?

Your accomplishments are too high level to be considered “real”.
I am going to assume you are being sarcastic.

Plus, an 8 year old on CC? that’s kind of funny

I find this thread amusing.

hahahahhahahahahaa. This made me lol

This made me lol even more

My IQ is around 138

My SAT score is 2120

NOTE: I practically did no studying for the test.

2250 sat, 140 iq

2270 SAT as a freshman; 153 IQ

I doubt that you’re going to get a sample size of sufficient size to allow you to reasonably draw any conclusions.

2400 sat, 112 iq

and silverturtle the writing portion has almost no correlation to IQ, even the critical reading+math score after 2005 isnt acceptable criteria for most high IQ societies

It’s inconceivable that there is almost no correlation between one’s Writing score and his or her IQ.

maybe not almost none, but its a very rough and indirect way of estimating IQ, CR+M is much more correlatible to IQ, so if u want to use SAT scores to estimate - use CR+M

I don’t want to do any such thing. It’s at best marginarly helpful to value IQ scores and at worst very destructive.

Oh god, another IQ vs. SAT Score thread… RUN FOREST RUN!!!

Sat - 2400
IQ - over 9000

i see wut you did thar c:

agreed, i guess my point was more directed to the poster whom i felt was misguided since he posted 2250 which includes writing

I have a feeling everyone is lying here. Just from what I’ve encountered here at CC, my general consensus is that people here aren’t all that smart, just studious. Hence I am no longer impressed by any CCer.
