How would you first react to the word “ACCEPTED”
I imagine getting the letter in the mail so first I’d go to the mailbox and open up the letter before I go back inside my house. When I see the word “Accepted” I would play it completely cool, like its nothing. Then I would stutter step back into the house like I’m Barry bonds. Then I’d probably faint.

Who would you tell first?
Whoevers around.

How would you tell people?
I’d buy a blimp. J/K. Facebook/blog update.

How would your friends and family react?
Family would be completely and genuinely happy for me. My mom would tell everyone she knows. My friends are *******s so they would probably be jealous. They’d hate on me and say anyone could get in if they worked hard enough.

Mouth open. Brain not functioning. Probably pass out from lack of oxygen to brain. :O

My parents obviously. Then we’d invite all our relatives out to dimsum to rub it in their faces. :]

Facebookzzz and a youtube video of my acceptance.

My friends would be bitter, because that’s how they are. They’d probably make voo-doo dolls of me and poke needles in me. :[
And my sister would go around telling all the doctors she pushes drugs to. :]

How would you first react to the word “ACCEPTED”
I would be like, “**** yeah!”, get all cocky, and just laugh and grin

Who would you tell first?
Parents, of course

How would you tell people?
Lol, I’d only tell people if they ask

How would your friends and family react?
Family: “Good job! Proud of you!”
Friends: “Oh ****. How did franticpizza get into Harvard?!!?”

1. How would you first react to the word “ACCEPTED”

To tell you the truth, I was excited for all of thirty seconds. Then I went back to finishing my cheesecake. Secretly, I was thrilled, but I suppressed my desire to go streaking.

2. Who would you tell first?

I was with a group of friends when I found out, so they are the first ones I told. Then, about an hour later, I told my mother. My father didn’t find out until a few days later, when I finally saw him - he had been working nonstop and our schedules didn’t really coincide.

3. How would you tell people?

Deadpan, with a weak smile immediately after. That is the best method of delivery.

4. How would your friends and family react?

My mother screamed at the top of her lungs. My brother just raised his eyebrows. My father laughed. My sister rolled her eyes. My friends just said, “That’s super-cool! Congratulations!” and then everyone moved on with their lives.

Substituting with my personal dream college :)

I would yell ‘Oh My God!’ so loud my neighbors–whom i share a wall with–would hear me.

I’d tell my whole household first of course. Mostly because they heard me scream lol.

I wouldn’t really tell people or put it on facebook. I’m an introvert, so I don’really like to bring attention to myself. But if people do ask, I’ll politely tell them and smile happily.

My family would be so proud. They’ll say that my hard work paid off. My sister would probably care less haha. Some of my friends would be genuinely happy for me. While some would be shocked that I even got accepted.

Just smile and keep reading and smile and keep reading and smile and keep reading and smile and keep reading until I suppose I get tired and my mouth starts hurting from too much giddiness and happiness. Then I would tell my family. Then update Facebook.

It sort of happened liked that with Cornell, but I was too excited to tell the family so I told them while grinning from ear to ear.

How would you first react to the word “ACCEPTED”

They best be happy and excited and if they’re not… who CARES, IM GOIN TO HARVARD SUCKERS!

I’ve always wanted to do that thing that those recruited athletes do during signing day. You know, get a hat from every college that I was accepted to, then make a video acting like it’s a press conference, lay the hats out in front of me, then decide there where I’m going by picking up the hat and putting it on.

Go to school like normal…act all mysterious…and then say to my best friend quietly and calmly, “you cannot believe what happened…” Then keep it a secret. Until graduation day when they announce the university you are going to…and wait for the silence. LOL (no one in my school ever gets into the ivies)

Mom: YAY I GET TO BRAG TO MY FRIENDS!
Dad: Ffffuuu this will cost money

A nonchalant face. Hardly a reaction. I know it would come with more work, so I plan to prepare myself for the wo…fun. Might practice capoeira for fun later.

Parents.

Only those who asked.
