If you grew up in the W. Coast and got accepted to a school in the E. Coast

Me neither. Glad I’m not alone.

But I thought California is THE best place in America…why the hate?

lol I chicked out, or else I would have gone to Duke. I’m stayin –> SOCALLL

I’m from Seattle and I’m desperate to get out of the pacific northwest, at least for a few years. the only NW school I’m for sure applying to is Whitman.

There just aren’t very many GREAT schools nearby. There’s Whitman, which I did love, and UW ibut the size kinda freaks me out, and then there’s Reed but I visited and hated it. Anything in Cali isn’t close enough to visit regularly, so there’s no purpose in staying on the west coast if there are preferable schools out east  Besides, I’d probably shrivel in the unfamiliar Cali sunlight

Only if I was accepted to MIT or something, but then again I’d probably be accepted to Berkeley as well, which is where I’d go simply because of the cost and because I love NorCal

I grew up moving around from state to state. Location doesn’t mean anything to me anymore. :D

wat the **** have u been smoking?
