if you had 1 month to selfstudy, would you study AP Bio or AP Chem

If you only had 1 month to study like crazy, would you rather study for AP bio or AP chem.

I haven't taken an AP exam before, but I am currently self-studying AP Bio... personally I consider it simpler than AP Chem because it is mainly memorisation (unfortunately I have a terrible memory :().

I would do Chem. I love chem, so I wouldn't mind intensively studying it.

AP Bio w/o a doubt. I'm not sure how anyone could self study AP Chemistry in just one month let alone w/o a class. AP bio would just require reading the Cliffs book once or twice and some good memorization.

hmm to be honest, i have pretty bad memorization. but i think i'll still give it a shot. so the tip would be to read the cliffs AP book?

yep, also the PR sat subject test biology book is a good supplement to prep for the ap

bio..chem's harder i think.

I know that chem is harder, but I like the subject more, so I would enjoy teaching it to myself more as well. I just think it would be easier.

AP Biology - embrace for memorization. AP Chemistry would require total dedication to do within one month.

Definitely Bio, it was so fun =)

bio bio bio bio bio bio bio...chem is too harrd to do in one month because it requires a pretty good understanding of concepts and being able to apply them, whereas bio is mainly memorization

Bio, I can barely do regular chem.

One month would be near impossible for chem IMHO.

thanks for all the inputs. I think I'm going to go out and buy a Cliff AP bio book. Any other books recommended I should buy?

The princeton review SAT subject in biology book, it's useful for the AP because it's an easy yet comphrehensive read. It only took me one day to read and helped a ton.

Bio for me, I despise chem. Bio's mostly memorization which I'm good at, while chem's more about understanding concepts.

barrons all the way........................
It has like EVERYTHING, that could POSSIBLY (kinda...)
be on the test..lol

And the ap one is actually pretty good too (Its well written And not boring, Unlike the SATII one which is EXTREMLY boring, but VERY Useful)

oh god, AP Bio, it is the easiest test to cram study for I think because it's just straight memorization and the open responses are just fact-spitting-out writing prompts while Chem requires actual calculation

I think Princeton Review has a pretty good book, I skimmed it before my test and got a 5 (well, skimmed it with my year long notes aside me... but it's got good info that's really focused in on what's tested)

you can study both for a week and get 5's

Maybe for bio, but definitely not for chem.
