If You Have Not Gotten In --- What are your stats?

I also have an older brother that is a Junior at USC (If that helps my chances of getting in.)
I also would say that my essay for USC (my first choice) was pretty effective in showing my passion for Business/Cinema-Television. If I do get into the Marshall School of Business I plan on entering the BCA program they have.

I attend a small private Catholic High School in Orange County, Ca.

3.51 UW GPA
School doesn't weigh GPA so I don't know...
too many honor classes so I'm not sure....

I also took 3 college courses and received A's in all of them.
Hook: first-gen

Sorry, for editing so much, I keep on forgetting about some of my ECs:
I also have a part-time job and I was in the orchestra for 3 years (2 years intermediate, 1 year advance)
I also had a lot of yearbook awards (some national)

GPA: 3.6 uw (thing that really hurt me was math last year, but i have straight A's in calc this year so midyear report should help explain that issue)
SAT: 1360/1600 or 2150/2400

I feel recs are solid: 2 solid teachers, debate coach/teacher

I felt essays were great: personal and showed who i was (or at least my dad, counselor and I think so haha)

It seems to me the GPAs are what's hurting us.... though someone in my school got in with a 3.6...

I think someone on here got in with a 3.5.... :/

It seems like we all have a very good chance of getting in. I think they admitted people based off of preliminary information, such as standardized test scores or GPA's. What I mean is if you were really high in either, I think they let you in a lot faster. If you are the average USC applicant (like the average USC student) i think it would talk a little bit longer to find out if we get in or not.

Same thing here! I'm in Southern California and a bunch of my friends got in and I got NOTHING! We just have to wait longer... UGH!!!!!

3.9 UW GPA, 2200 SAT. NMF, as well as some leadership in EC's.... :(

Seriously.
I understand that i'm a HUGE reach to get into USC but it's still my 1st choice.
I had an optional interview and Samuel Kim(Director of Admissions) was my interviewer.
I was EXTREMELY nervous and studdered from time to time, but overall I believe I did pretty well. I made sure he knew that I was IN LOVE with USC and that my SAT scores did NOT represent me well as a student.

Extra: Took 8 Pre-AP (like Honors) classes and 7 AP classes (AP Classes here are limited; the Economics AP teacher quit this year, so that one was abolished and for ECs I have to take certain periods so I'm not able to take as many AP classes as I'd like)
