If you like [selective school], you might like...

If you like Rice you might also like…?

EDIT: And please don’t say chicken.

Rice>Vanderbilt>Emory>Wake Forest

Huh? A bunch of smack-dab-in-the-city-urban-schools and Northwestern? Doesn’t make sense.

Princeton=Stanford>Northwestern>UCLA

Northwestern is more comparable to the above schools.

If you like UMich you would like Ohio State.

If you like University of Rochester you would also like…?
Any suggestions?

If you like Harvard, you might also like Haverford, because of their similar names if you slur a little.

I kid.

Michigan>Toronto=McGill=Wisconsin>Illinois=Penn State>Indiana=Iowa=Minnesota=Purdue=Miami (Ohio)>Mich. State=Ohio State.

“If you like UMich you would like Ohio State.”

You’re joking, right?

^haha
10char

If you like Stanford, you might also like University of California Berkeley because of similar level of academics and similar area.

As similar as those schools may be, you’d have quite a hard time getting a Michigan fan to go to Ohio State

I’d have to go with Boston College and Fordham

"If you like UMich you would like Ohio State.

As similar as those schools may be, you’d have quite a hard time getting a Michigan fan to go to Ohio State"

Not sure how you can figure that these two schools are so similar?

If you like Stanford you might like Santa Clara - similar architecture, weather, location, majors.

Someone in an earlier post suggested that they would make Ohio State would a good less selective substitute for Michigan

If you like Yale you’ll most likely going to like Cambridge and / or Oxford too.

If you like Stanford, you’re probably going to like Rice too.

If you like Berkeley, you’re probably going to like Cornell or CMU too.

No. Not for academics. Stanford is in a league above Duke for academics. Stanford is in the league of Harvard Yale, Princeton, MIT and Caltech. Duke is in the league of Chicago, Northwestern, Berkeley, JHU, Washington U, Rice, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and all the rest of the ivies.

If you like Carleton, you will like Grinnell-same top academics, quirky, understated midwestern culture, and rural campus.

“If you like University of Rochester you would also like…?”

Case Western. They are oftened compared.
