If you send SAT, do they automatically see SAT II's?

Question, more specifically: Only one or two schools my son is applying to require SAT II's. But if he's submitting SAT's, particularly to schools that don't "accept" Score Choice, will even the schools that don't require SAT II's see his SAT II's? I ask, because he did well on the regular SAT, but not so well on the SAT II's - it would be a shame for anyone to see them who doesn't need/want them.

Hope that makes sense.

It is a matter of how you exercise score choice. You can send all scores to one college by not exercising it (it is the default send, just order a score and all automatically go unless you purposefully exercise score choice) and only one or some scores to others by exercising it.

For schools that require to send all scores (I mean SAT I and SAT II), then you have no choice but to send in all of them.

For schools that opted out SAT II, or say clearly on their website that SAT II is optional, then your son can take the score choice option and uncheck all the SAT II tests that you don’t want to send to that particular college/university. This way only your son’s SAT I will be sent to the college/universtiy.

For schools that require all SAT I scores and only 2 SAT II, then you do the same thing. If you took more than 2 SAT II, you can just choose the best two to send and uncheck the rest, since the college only requires 2 SAT II.

But what does he do for schools that require all SAT scores, but do not require the SAT II period? Is there a way to do that?

Use score choice to send ALL his SAT I’s, but none of the SAT II’s.

Sorry to go around in circles, but there is one school in particular that A) does not “accept” Score Choice, but B) does not require SAT II’s at all.

bump? can someone please tell me if it is possible to send only all SAT scores to a non-Score Choice honoring school that does not require SAT II?

I would email the admissions people at that school and see what they say about it.

Does your name mean something special, or did you just run out of ideas for names that weren’t already taken? Just curious, and sorry to get off-topic. :-)
