<p>If you submit your application for a school right after the application comes out sometime during the summer, do they tell you before the April date?
For example, if the app comes out in August and you submit it in September, even though it's due in January, will they let you know ASAP? Or will you still receive notification in April? </p>

<p>(btw let's assume they have early decision, but you're not ready to make the commitment.)</p>

<p>If you applied regular decision you will receive your answer as soon as the school releases those decisions in March or April. It doesn’t matter when you actually submitted your application.</p>

<p>Then they will tell you with everyone else. If they have ED that means they don’t have rolling admission, so just wait until they release decisions for everyone.</p>
