If you teacher wants you to be his/her son...

Say he/she calls you every single day in class, should you just call him/her mom/dad back?

lol What?

Although that reminds me that one of my teachers said that my friend would make a good wife for his son…

No. Please don’t. No. Please let the chasm remain between the joke and your response. Please.

There are kids in my HS that call our VP “Dad” and it still creeps me out.

My english/TOK teacher suggested that I could marry his son and be his daughter in law >.>

This is just plain creepy o.o And no, I wouldn’t call him/her “Mom” or “Dad”… I’d probably report it to someone else :p

What do you mean? Like, if the teacher says “What’s the answer, son?” If you respond to the teacher with mom or dad, then you’re in for a detention. But it would be really funny for everyone else to watch.

There are these girls in my school who call this one teacher “Aunt Donna” because they love her. But girls can get away with that kind of stuff ;)

Yeah, “son” is used to refer to a boy by many, so they’re not equating you to their child, they’re just saying it as a figure of speech.

What the…

So, uh, what schools do you people go to? I just want to be sure to never ever go there or send my children there.

8th grade English teacher that was the mother of my close female friend that I somewhat “Dated” wanted me to be her son-in law. And to this day still wants me to.

^ That isn’t so bad. Maybe she thinks you’re great for her daughter. Not that she wants you to be her son-in-law just to be her son-in-law, but that she wants you to marry her daughter…?

Eh… a bit of both. Her daughter I have no clue what she does at her high school now.
She’s in an out of relationships. I’ve yet to be in one.

Does nobody remember Cody2010?

My teacher stated that I would make a nice daughter. Perhaps she has never seen me outside the classroom.

^^I haven’t been anything but polite with librarians since.

^ haha, I’m glad someone knows what I’m talking about.

Case in point, never call anyone mom if they are not your mom.
