Hey everybody!
So could y'all chance my sats. I know sats are only a small part of the application but i was wondering if this part is good enough for wash u, especially with how competitive its getting.

So SAT I (2200)

740-Cr
730 - W
730- M

SAT II (What I'm worried about)
690 - Math I
710 - US history.

So could you people help me, thanks!

always nice to be invited to a party ;)

ya i’d say your stats are definitely “good enough” and everything. I got in with less (especially on the SAT2 - I think i had a 540 in there somewhere…). With scores like that it’s definitely not the statistics that are gonna hurt your chances, so if your other parts of your app are good you’ve got a great shot.

If you’re really worried about the SAT2 though, you might consider taking the Math II test to make the Math I score look less important - it’s actually not any harder than the Math I test: just make sure you’ve seen all the topics it covers beforehand, though, because it does cover some slightly different things

best of luck!

Wash U doesn’t require the SAT 2’s. those aren’t bad scores anyhow. are you applying to some of the ivies that do require them?

Can you choose not to send in those scores, if you don’t like them? I really wouldn’t worry about it, i highly doubt they look at them at all.

i don’t think that Collegeboard lets you separate any tests you’ve taken with them… if they’ve put two and two together and know two tests were taken by the same person, they send all the scores together if they send anything, as far as I know. But yeah, SAT2’s aren’t on the short list of stuff WashU’s going to look at.

I believe College Board is changing the format of handing in scores this coming year. Supposedly, you choose your best sitting of the SATI to send rather than superscore from seeing all sittings. However, I’m not sure if you still have to send all of your SATIIs. You may be able to choose, but previously (and maybe currently as well), it was as Don_Quixote explained.
