raises the affirmative action flag i don't intend on being rude, but its true =\, you have great chances at these colleges. might want to try emory

that flag better pay for my tuition too. i can't afford to apply to any schools ED, but i think i have a good shot at getting a nice package from some of these places in the RD pool.
emory is on my list by the way. i just forgot to include it.
duke only a slight reach? wow.

Thank God for AA huh? But you've got good stats either way. Should get some good merit aid from the safeties.

AA is god. you guys are great too.
i just threw princeton and harvard in there just to see. i can't really see myself going to those. do you guys think i should apply?

well i dont wanna stretch myself too thin on App's for colleges i dont really wanna go to just to see if i could get in. i've heard those schools aren't too generous in the financial department either.

you're probably right. my parents will probably make me apply and we'll see what happens. what do u think of my odds at the other ones, amnesia?

you've got good enough stats to apply to harvard and princeton but they're both reaches as there's nothing a/b your app that really stands out.

re: fin aid, I think Princeton grads have the least debt at graduation and Harvard pays for everything if your family makes under 60k (might be 40k).

nothing really stands out. i know. i'm just average-good at everything. i have no idea what kinda apps they get from URM's and especially blacks. i'm just hoping that i'll be good enough for the URM's that they get (i'm in the 99th percentile nationwide on the PSAT, so i'm optimistic).

yes that's what I mean. Nothing great stands out but you do have good stats and are a URM so it's worth the application. However, there are undoubtedly URMs with stand-out achievements out there and they've probably got their sights set on Princeton and Harvard as well.

you can't really tell me cuz ur not an admissions officer, but would u think there are enough of those type of URM's to keep me from getting in?
i guess the only thing, if you wanna call anything, special about me is the fact that i will have played 12 seasons of varsity sports and still been able to manage a 4.03.
