If you would be so kind, chance me?

<p>I posed this question earlier in a different sub forum. However, having completed the year on a high note, I'm curious to see again what my chances are for getting in to the UW.</p>

<p>In state (WA)
Female/Caucasian
School doesn't do rankings, but definitely in the top 10%.
Will be entering Senior year
Average public school, not many AP courses offered, but I take advantage of what I can.</p>

<p>GPA: Official cumulative @ 3.976 (UW)
SAT: 1820 - 630/590/600 (first try, may retake in october. Could this hurt me?)</p>

<p>I have taken all honors core classes (Math, science, english) except senior year where AP is offered. </p>

<p>AP's taken:
10th: World History - 3 (only class offered)
11th: US History - 4 (again, only class offered)
12th (planned): Chemistry, Lit, Calculus
3 years of German Language, but no AP offered! :(</p>

<p>Schecule:
-Pre-Calculus
-English 3 Honors (no Eng Lang offered)
-AP US History
-Chemistry (no honors offered)
-German 3</p>

<p>12th (expected):
-AP Calculus AB
-AP Chemistry
-Government (chose not to take AP as it is not a big interest of mine, and I would like to put more focus on my other AP's.)
-Psychology
-AP English Lit</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-National Honor Society 11th/12th grade - elected treasurer for the coming year
-Assisteens 11th/12th grade - Worked as volunteer coordinater last year, and appointed chairperson for the coming year. I also participated in the national conference this summer.
-Participated in GAPP, a government sponsored exchange program in Germany.
-Girl Scouts for 6+ years, silver award
-Volunteer at special needs kids camp, 11th/12th grade +
-Will be a 2 year varsity tennis letter</p>

<p>What do you guys think? I'm always looking to improve on what I have!
Thanks a bunch.</p>

<p>Try to take the SAT again - your score is pretty good, but around 1950+ would be a little better. What about the SAT Subject tests? I don’t think it’s mandatory, but it would show off your knowledge a little more. </p>

<p>And also… start thinking about your essays! It’s never too early. :)</p>

<p>(I’m going to UW this fall, and I think my essays helped me a lot).</p>

<p>get your SAT up and write good essays and you’re in</p>

<p>Thanks guys! Would you say that my SAT score hurts me? I’ll try my best to take the one in october, but if i’m for some reason unable to, I’m just curious if my score is detrimental in any way.</p>
