<p>I posed this question earlier in a different sub forum. However, having completed the year on a high note, I'm curious to see again what my chances are for getting in to the UW.</p>
<p>In state (WA)
Female/Caucasian
School doesn't do rankings, but definitely in the top 10%.
Will be entering Senior year
Average public school, not many AP courses offered, but I take advantage of what I can.</p>
<p>GPA: Official cumulative @ 3.976 (UW)
SAT: 1820 - 630/590/600 (first try, may retake in october. Could this hurt me?)</p>
<p>I have taken all honors core classes (Math, science, english) except senior year where AP is offered. </p>
<p>AP's taken:
10th: World History - 3 (only class offered)
11th: US History - 4 (again, only class offered)
12th (planned): Chemistry, Lit, Calculus
3 years of German Language, but no AP offered! :(</p>
<p>Schecule:
-Pre-Calculus
-English 3 Honors (no Eng Lang offered)
-AP US History
-Chemistry (no honors offered)
-German 3</p>
<p>12th (expected):
-AP Calculus AB
-AP Chemistry
-Government (chose not to take AP as it is not a big interest of mine, and I would like to put more focus on my other AP's.)
-Psychology
-AP English Lit</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
-National Honor Society 11th/12th grade - elected treasurer for the coming year
-Assisteens 11th/12th grade - Worked as volunteer coordinater last year, and appointed chairperson for the coming year. I also participated in the national conference this summer.
-Participated in GAPP, a government sponsored exchange program in Germany.
-Girl Scouts for 6+ years, silver award
-Volunteer at special needs kids camp, 11th/12th grade +
-Will be a 2 year varsity tennis letter</p>
<p>What do you guys think? I'm always looking to improve on what I have!
