<p>I'm not sure of how many other schools have an AE level, but for those who don't know it is essentially in between CP and H. For example, at my school CP are weighted out of 4.0, AE out of 4.5, and H/AP out of 5.0</p>

SAT 1: 2190 - 740CR 740 Math 710 Writing
retook it just yesterday... definitely hoping i brought math up to 800. other than that, i am expecting only minor improvements.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:.... very few.
Future Business Leaders of America, 11th grade, placed first at state competition in the banking and financial services event... however our state's chapter of FBLA is not particularly well known.
Recycling Club, 11th grade, i think its around 60 hours of community service over the course of the year.
Also, i'm into weightlifting but haven't done any official competitions, but i am very dedicated. I'm not sure if that counts for anything, and if any of you know how/where i might get involved please let me know</p>

<p>Other: Have been to Romania a couple of times (family). I will most likely be spending 4 weeks there this summer doing some construction work on a house for my grandmother</p>

<p>Well, good thing is that your test scores are very high. So, that will definitely be a plus…especially if you raised that math score like you said you might have. </p>

<p>On the other hand, however, you have very limited ECs. It’s not even about the quantity, it’s just I don’t see much substance there. The only thing that mainly stands out is the FBLA thing.</p>

<p>With that being said, Carnegie Mellon, Tufts, Brandeis, Cornell, and NYU are all reaches…some more than others. I think that if you write amazing essays, and try to score a leadership position or two, you might be in better shape.</p>

<p>I would say that NYU is more of a low reach, but with the huge number of applicants, who knows. Tufts is probably a match, though sak09 is right, the ECs are not looking good at all. RPI is a match, I can’t imagine them rejecting you. Cornell is definitely a reach. I don’t know enough about admissions at CMU and Brandeis to make a prediction.</p>

<p>Wow, congratulations on one of the few realistic lists on this board. It’s so refreshing and you won’t be a tragic character in April! You have safeties, matches and realistic reaches.</p>

<p>seriously speaking…start a weightlifting club at your school (talk to ppl to see if there’s interest)! that’d be a great EC.</p>
