One of the students that I worked with (as a college consultant) went to Stanford, but transferred to St. John’s in Annapolis after a year. It was such a better fit for this exceptional young person who craved peers who loved classical education.
It wasn’t sad, though; it was wise. This student’s sibling is also at St. John’s. Happy couple of siblings, for sure.
