Oh I have a question - I wonder how you create the most * diverse * sound. Obviously if you don’t light anything up (or if you light very few things up) the resulting sound is quite simple. On the other hand, if you light most things up it is also simple. So how do you optimize diversity?

Oh! But I just check the link, and love this site! I’ve found it through stumbleupon before. :D

Is there a way to get the notes from this thing? I made a cool rythm. :D

^ light half?

Coool find

Screenshots can save it, but too bad there’s no gallery.

thanks for wasting 40 minutes of my time. Atleast I made some sick rythms… I have 2 bass lines going at the same time with my main rythm… siick.

Anyone else start finding out how different patterns or symbols sound?

This is a worthy addition to my bookmarks bar.

Bravo.

I tried a cross first, simple two lines down center and approximated crossbeam a little more than halfway up and across the middle half. Didn’t take pic.

[Number 2 (current favorite).](http://i55.■■■■■■■.com/e6f4ll.png)

Number two starts out with a bongo type sound and ends with chimes.

It would be interesting to see if there’s a difference in the types of patterns created by people with musical training vs. those without.

Maybe, but then you should also break it down into the mathematically inclined, the organizational, the other creative types, what have you.

Oh, I took the time to read the box. Space clears and you can copy/paste the designs. So you can copy, clear, fiddle around, then return your favorite.

Paste:

Yes, you can copy that string and paste it on the screen and it will show up.

Yes, that’s an awesome way of sharing beats.
