<p>All the 4 friends I mentioned earlier in the thread have been accepted with full aid. I applied for full aid as well and haven’t got any rejection e-mail yet. However, you’re right, there has been much less money this year, especially for internationals.</p>
<p>Oh GOD plz plz plz let it not be a rejection…I have asked for full aid…Thanks alot ricochet99999 for your support…but they can mail it any time … maybe they have just taken a small break from the process of breaking the hearts of hundreds of Internationals…this year has truly been a massacre…</p>
<p>@Ecthelion: I’m quite sure they don’t have to click send for every e-mail. There’s a newsletter software that sends the e-mail automatically to everybody at the same time. Small time differences may occur depending on the mail server you use.
I think no e-mail could mean accepted, but then again, I might just be trying to boost my confidence.</p>

but Colgate is generous this year. It admitted like 7 students from my country, full need as far as I know.</p>
<p>So, to sum up, if you haven’t gotten an email by now from Colgate as an International applicant, then it is good news.</p>

REHECTED too by the way. International only willing to pay $10,000. Are you guys serious? Colgate is being stingy this year. Wow, my stats don’t come close to most of you other rejectees. Well what can you do. The recession has had its toll on these US colleges and they were forced to deny admission to most internationals who couldn’t pay. No worries, its just that we applied in the worst possible year. << Shouldn’t have said that, infact we have to be grateful that we even had a chance to apply. Most senior year students from my country don’t even have time to wander off and apply to foreign schools. Plus I’m sure there have been worse times for internationals before us and maybe internationals after us could have an even harder time (almost imminent). Anyway I’m just saying we need to be thankful for all of the luck that has come our way. Just realized, I’m contradicting myself aren’t I. I sometimes do this kind of stuff but mostly in my head - Mind works like Aristotle’s what can you do. playaamy, where are u from? Okay, congrats to all those who got in, Colgate is a really fantastic place, I hope you can get to experience the best four years of your life there. But its not to be for me I guess and for many other internationals that were left heart-broken by silly letters from the Office of Admission dated March 22nd – whats with that. Hang in there everyone. I’m sure GOD has something great planned for us all. Chill, more decisions are coming, not the end of the world.
