I applied to transfer in october for the fall 2011 semester. I called them last week as I had not heard anything, and they told me that they have not started to look at transfers yet but plan on doing so by the end of February.

I plan on transferring 56 credits with a GPA of 3.5 from a cc.

Good luck!

I just got in! I had a 3.3 from a community college. That’s over 48 credits. You’re good, don’t stress too much!

I applied about a month ago with a 3.2 from community college and 43 credits. Congrats on getting in linkinspartan, I’m still freaking out about it every day! Did you have anything that stood out in your application? I’m trying to get a better idea of what my chances are.

And good luck Mac360Pro!

Congrats! And you too Sharshar292.

Linkinspartan when did you apply and for what semester?

I applied in October as well for fall 2011 as a sophomore. I have a 4.0 with 36 credits. I already got in to UofM, but I really like MSU. I hope I hear from them soon (with or without an acceptance)! Congrats linkinspartan!

Thank you everyone. I applied in mid-December for Fall 2011. My essay was pretty good. I also had a repeat class on my transcript.

Anybody know what this means? I sent my fall 2010 transcript electronically, but not sealed, so do I need to send them a sealed one? Also anyone else get this?

Thanks!

I was accepted!! I applied with a 3.6 from a cc. I had 57 credits, but not many EC’s. I was a tutor though at my cc, so that probably helps a little.

@Mac360Pro- no it doesn’t mean you’re in. It just means that they don’t have your stuff…I got the same e-mail two months ago and my status changed to “application under review” after I sent in my stuff.

Congrats Habala55! And thanks, I will be sure to get that to them asap.

I just got in too! Hope you hear back soon MacPro360!
