IGETC and transferring question.

Ok here's my situation

I attended a community college and did most if not all my igetc requirements. I then transferred out to a private school after cc and basically took one semester there and transferred to a UC. How would the igetc work since I didn't directly transfer from cc to uc? I'm currently attending UC Davis and I never got the GE certification

The classes you took at CC should fulfill requirements on IGETC. Regarding the classes that you had not completed to have your IGETC done at CC, did you take those at the private school?

No I actually took those at a csu lol right before I transferred to cc

So you took classes at CSU in Spring 20xx and then the following Fall 20xx you took classes at CC?

Yeah that’s correct and I already completed one year at uc Davis without getting the igetc certification

I know for sure I completed the igetc requirements but I just never got certification sent to uc Davis and I’ve already completed a year

I would contact UC Davis and let them know your situation that you have the IGETC certification completed including the CSU + CC courses. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be able to accept it since the IGETC is a GE pattern.
