I remember seeing somewhere saying we had to apply for igetc certification and send it to the UC. I'm trying to complete all the requirements on the UCLA checklist but it doesnt say anything about igetc certification...just sending in transcrips.

You have to have your CCC send your IGETC certification. I took care of that a couple days ago, at the records office. I’m going to be done with IGETC at the end of the semester, so the certification will be send upon completion. Check with that office (or something similar), as they will know what to do.

but what if your school’s student services building is full of idiots who are RUDE? =l. I just paid to get my transcript through Fall sent out the other day, should I have sent the igetc too? I thought I was supposed to wait till the end of this semester.

My IGETC certification won’t be sent until it’s complete, after the semester ends. It’s pending on the last course I’m taking now.

i think i finished mine this past semester though…do you think it will be included in my transcript or is it a whole different document?

You know, I’m not certain. I think it may be a different document, but don’t quote me on it!

I will quote you on it, and if you’re wrong I will make sure it haunts you forever.

guitarfrk–sorry for hijacking your thread. anyway, you def. need to send the igetc certification. i’m surprised it isn’t clear on the checklist.

I’m pretty sure it’s separate from your transcripts. But… Do you guys know if the certification is just… a form saying you’ve completed the requirements or does it have your grades attached to it as well?

so when are we supposed to send our spring 2010 transcript to ucla? during the summer after the semester is over?

you’re supposed to send transcripts up to Fall 2010 by June 1st and the spring transcript by July 15th
