<p>How do we get certified??</p>
<p>I'm going to UCLA, and remember them saying I need the certification.</p>
<p>Should I have already gotten this? How do I get it?, have ya'll gotten the certification yet?</p>

<p>1) Ask your counselor or look on your school’s site for the petition form; fill it out
2) Go to your admissions office (it’s usually your admissions office, but some schools are different); submit the form and pay the fee
3) Wait</p>

<p>if youre completing your igetc this quarter, then you gotta wait until finals week to turn in the form. some schools accept them the week before.</p>

<p>ciaokarol: They probably want to see if you completed your language requirement in high school.</p>
<p>yeah that’s what they said. I did 3 yrs of language in hs but I am also taking a language right now so i don’t see why it matters.</p>
<p>^^^ I also heard that they want to confirm that we actually graduated high school as well. Nothing’s easy eh?</p>

<p>liablue: On my conditions statement it tells me where to send mine at Cal at the very end. Check your Conditions Statement :)</p>
<p>Pierce College asked for my high school transcript as well.</p>
<p>My IGETC certification was an option on my transcript request. Just ask a counselor.</p>
