Is IGETC required for Physics Majors planning to transfer to UCLA or Berkeley?
If not, how strongly would you recommend having it for a Physics Major?
I'm thinking I'll have much more time not taking all the general classes.
A Physics major is one class away from engineering.
Thank You!

If you’re still considering engineering at this point, make your decision as early as you can.

What school are you targeting? UCLA encourages IGETC completion for L&S transfers, but does not recognize IGETC at all for SEAS transfers. Engineering majors tend to have different requirements from science majors.

I want to go to med-school. I know this can lead to a whole different convo of why Physics?..So I guess I do have to complete IGETC because I’m not going for engineering. Right?
