i am applying this fall for UCB media studies and UCLA history..is it ok for me to take Math for liberal arts students in the spring, and not take stats?

Stats is easy, take it! BTW, the TI-84 will be your best friend in stats.

We weren't allowed anything more than a $1 pocket calculator in my stats course.

That sucks. Regardless as long as you know the formulas it's easy. The TI just makes it that much easier.

The call on whether statistic is easy or not depends on your professor and if you have taken stats before. If its ur first time and a bad teacher, it can be challenging.

yeah it sucks for ANY class if you get stuck with a horrible professor which takes a toll on your GPA

Agreed. My professor was challenging, but really set us up for success by having constant tutoring opportunities throughout the semester. That was the key, IMO.

I don't think it matter which class (as long as it's transferrable) but it HAS to be done by the end of fall. On the same note both transferrable english have to be completed by the end of fall too.

Where did you get the information that says it HAS to be completed by fall? Last I checked, unless you have a conditional contract, you have up to spring prior to transfer to complete your pre-reqs, igetc and TAP.

Iceboar is right
