IGETC question?

For the language part of IGETC...exactly how many courses did I need to take in community college to complete it? Is it just two courses or two years of a language (meaning four courses)? I did Spanish 101, 102 and 201. Is that enough or was I supposed to do another?

I did four years of French in high school Im just having a hard time getting my hs transcript from docufide so I was hoping that the three semesters I did in cc was enough

The language requirement in IGETC is determined by your CCC. Some (most?) schools will certify your IGETC requirement with just the first semester of your foreign language of choice. I’ve heard that others however require 2 courses, I doubt that more are necessary anywhere unless your career goal is to be a translator. Having said this, if you haven’t taken the courses already, work to get the 4 years you took in high school recognized, it will qualify at most schools.

Are you 87?

Whats 87?

I went to San Diego Mesa College and I already did three semesters so I guess I should be ok since Im gonna go psychology at UCSD and not a language. Thanks!

All i have to do is submit my 2 years of Spanish in highschool to the school i get accepted to. As long as you get a C or better in each of the two years during highschool the igetc is completed automatically

2011 - 1924 = 87 but, never mind, apparently you like random numbers.
