IGETC-- Transfer questions

<p>I have some questions regarding the IGETC:</p>

<p>If I major, let's say in history, and take some history classes from the IGETC requirements-- well, can I do that? Even though I'm a history major can I apply the history courses that aren't part of my major to the IGETC?</p>

<p>Also, can I fulfill the American institutions at UCSD or do I have to meet them before I transfer?</p>

<p>I am not sure i am understanding your question, but yes, you can use a history class to fulfill a major preparation course and igetc</p>
