Ignatius Seminars

I feel a little bit clueless when it comes to the freshman seminars, specifically the Ignatius Seminars. I'm going in as pre-med, psychology major, and I think I'd enjoy taking one or more of the Ignatius Seminars, but is it worth it? I'll have a demanding courseload as it is, and I'm not sure if I want to add something else on top of it all. Any thoughts?

And another quick question. Does anyone know if getting into the seminars is particularly difficult? I know that an essay is required, but do they read these very closely?

bbbbbbbbbbump.

They give you three to choose from and I’m sure they’ll put you in one of them, so just write about how much you like cooking/drawing/etc.
I’m debating whether to do this one as well. I am also pre-med but my major is biochem so it’ll be a bit easier for me to complete the med requirements. The only reason I could think of, of doing the seminar, is if you want a break from science, improve GPA, or get closer connections to teachers (for internship, etc.)
