<p>I've heard people on here mention that some colleges don't even look at 9th grade grades....I find that hard to believe...is it true....and, if so, what colleges do this?</p>
<p>Why is it hard to believe? Many colleges have realized that ninth grade is a still a transitional/developmental stage for kids, which seems true to me since there are so many students who did poorly ninth grade and then have made a turn around 10/11th grades. </p>
<p>Colleges that ignore freshmen year: All UC's, Stanford, Princeton, UMich.. all that i know of. More colleges may not include it, but have not said it publicly. </p>

<p>That's awesome! Yeah, I really didn't take life seriously last year (9th grade). My grades were still good, but I've really started taking things seriously this year.......but I probably won't be applying to any of those schools soooo : (</p>
