Can anyone distinguish the differences between these two courses? The course discriptions on the HC website are essentially identical. Are there any differences in content and workload?

Thank you.

Thank you.

There is not much difference between the two courses other than IHP 155 is a freshman-only course. That said, I took IHP 105 and almost all of my classmates were freshmen.

I’m nearly certain that the 105 is for FROSH only…while anyone can take the other one. But, they’re the same

Both of these courses count toward the 8 UH required credits AND 18 overall Honors credits, correct? I ask only because they do not show the Attribute “University Honors” on the registration system, while all the other Honors classes do.

IHP 105 or IHP 155 count for towards 3 out of the 6 UH required seminars.

So they count for UHP req’ts.

I thought they were revising the requirements?

I don’t think this is going to change. I don’t think there’s a reason to change this part.

BTW…older son took IHP 105 (or the other one) and LOVED it. It does require some writing, but he loved the class. He had Dr. Fannie James.
