IIT JEE Or SAT

Buy the Official College Board Guide and do all the 10 practice tests there. They are extremely similar to the REAL SAT and some of them are even past SAT papers. I took about 20 full length practice tests and jumped from a 1900 on my first test to a 2310 on my actual SAT.

2-3 questions on the SAT can make a HUGE difference to your score. Try yoga or something to boost your concentration. This is independent of the preparation u need. Go through the Grubers guide to SAT. Helped me!

@happyasever i found the official study guide on flipkart but its the 2009 edition…from where do i get the latest one

@geek96 edition doesn’t really matter, what matters is the content and content is almost same in all editions. Do all the practise tests with constrained timing to improve your scores.

I’d second what everybody else said. Also, I’d recommend you consider taking the ACT as well. Some people score better on one than the other and colleges consider them equally. You never know, a significantly better score on the ACT could boost your chances.

Hi, any advice for me? I too am in the 12 th grade (giving board exams in March 2015) i am looking forward to pursue my chemistry major from a college in the US. On my first attempt on the SAT i scored a 1790 ( i was expecting 2000+) i may have misbubbled or something and i m retaking the test in october. I didnt appear for any olympiads in school though but i have a few certificates of merit in state level science and astronomy quizzes. I scored 10 on the essay but 520 in cr ( may have misbubbled ) and 620 in math ( i am preparing for iit jee) and this score seems to be abysmally low given how easy the questions are. I scored above 2000 on almost all of the practixse tests i took and expecting a similar score on the second attempt. Any advice on where can i apply with this 1790 score i have right now? @geek96 where are you now? Any advice on where/how/when i should apply? Kindly excuse the typos. Advice will be appreciated
