IIT, WPI, Queens University

Which University is best for engineering out of Illinois Institute of Tech, Worchester Polytechnic Instittue and Queens University in Canada?

I would say WPI. The student's get into top grad schools like MIT and JHU and no one complains about the school.

Hmmm... Queens is a good University. But it isn't a top 5 Engineering school in Canada. If you're going to go to Ontario for Engineering, go to U of Toronto, which mops the floor with those other 3.

Or Waterloo, which is actually better for Engineering.

What do you say waleedk? So IIT is just ruled out eh?

help me plz

well um yeah, I mean WPI is FAR better than IIT (IMO) . Better ranked, better facilities, better professors, better acceptance rate to top grad schools etc. I would still keep it no.1. (This might be because I MIGHT be joining lol!.... but i didnt even apply to the other 2 because i didn't think they were that goood)..anyway, best of luck!

IIT is quite good, but not particularly prestigious outside of Chicago, which keeps it from having much clout on rankings like the Princeton Review, but its average ACT's and stuff are better than WPI's. In the past, the campus was extremely rundown - however, the campus is currently being renovated, and enrollment is up, so things are improving markedly.

the difference is very marginal (like 10 points on the SAT score..) but WPI has much better facilities and is higher ranked - overall & engineering

I don't know much about Queens so I cannot comment on them. Between WPI and IIT I would say to look at their campuses and locations and see if that is a good fit for you. IIT is in Chicago, in a very urban enviroment. If that's exciting to you then I would highly recommend them. If you don't want that, then I would scratch them off your list.

chocolate u more :)
