I finished my app today (Sun), and as I pushed the "pay by credit card" link, the app somehow got sent. It was complete, but I never actually paid. The fee page went blank and just said "Your app is complete" or whatever, and showed my basic info in a rectangular box. I heard the admissions office is closed tomorrow, so I have no way of knowing if they received my app or not. But what my main question is, is will it still count as being on time for the deadline if I didn't pay/can't find the fee page? Should I just mail a check, if it's postmarked by tomorrow? Thanks so much, and Happy New Year!

ps...does ND give you any verification that your app is in...I received none, not even a receipt. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it's not complete, they'll let you know by mail. I'm sure they won't be picky about the fee being late if it didn't register. I don't know if the admissions office is open, but the person to contact would be Gabe Brown. He seems to be the one in charge of all the online stuff, being that he's the computer science major and all that jazz. His email is brown.170@nd.edu

You should receive a card in the mail when they have processed your app telling you they have all they need from you.

I don't know about the credit card data. I wouldn't mail a check. If it says your app is complete, and they get mad because you didn't pay, you should simply tell them that the system said your app was complete. I think it's their problem, not yours.

okay, thanks for the responses guys. handyandy: i'll def shoot him an email tonight, thanks so much for that. loneranger: i don't want to send them a check either, but idk if they will even file my app w/o the fee paid, and i sent off my recs yesterday, so i dont want them to arrive w/o a file. any advice on that?

My letters of recommendation and transcript didn't show up until mid-late January. As long as you have an application in, you can fill in the blanks (to a reasonable extent) in the next few weeks.

ohhkay, thanks braap, i'll do that then. i might as well just send it tomorrow then. can someone please tell me what the pg looks like when you have your app in though? so i know that it was submitted at least? thanks :)

same thing happened to me too. I was pretty frustrated to say the least, especially with the fact that there was no submit button...just a "this application is complete" button...which confused the hell out of me when it went straight to the payment screen after I clicked it. I guess I'll just have to do something similar to braaap, and hopefully this won't make us stand out as retards (even though the webapp sucks).
