All the UCs

UCB 47 4.43 2174
UCD 10 4.16 1380 (old scale)
UCLA 43 4.74 2196 (this average is high because most applicants had high GPA; you could get in here with probably a 4.5 and a 2200)
UCSB 14 4.1 1323 (old scale)
UCSC 7 3.88 1324 (old scale)

Look in previous posts for UCSD.

FTR, this is data from Winston Churchill High School from MD.

Cornell perhaps?

sorry if im just being dumb, but i dont see Georgetown unless GW is georgetown, so if u could just say the general area it is or repost, id be much obliged.

How about stats for colgate and Boston College?

My bad. GW= Georgetown. GWU (G. Washington U.) isn't posted.

Pomona
Claremont McKenna
Swarthmore
Pepperdine

Thank you

wow afruff, your GPA estimates are so high! even with weighted, it's VERY unlikely that someone gets above a 4.4.

Pomona 14 4.3 1490 (old scale)
Claremont McKenna 12 4.57 1440 (old scale)
Swarthmore 21 4.56 2240
Pepperdine 9 4.51 1433 (old scale)
Cornell 163 4.64 2176
Colgate 24 4.35 2030
Boston College 12 4.71 1450 (old scale) (Highly skewed since only one person get accepted and these are his/her grades)

The reason some GPA's seem pretty high is:

Very few URM from this school, so stats speak for themselves

Many colleges I posted had very few applicants (mainly LACs and some UCs) causing deviance from what a person could expect to get into that college with

At this particular school, a 4.4 is not too rare based on this data alone.

How about everyone just use the site that comes up when you google admission chances? (I can't give the URL as the forum censors it)

It gives all this information.
