http://enrollment.rochester.edu/admissions/apply/rems/admissions.shtm gives you the stats of the average candidate invited for an interview at Rochester

http://www.medicalhelpnet.com/content/view/28/46/ might be helpful; I don't know how up-to-date the info.

THE ETS IS EVIL, I interviewed and was accepted to the University of Rochester's REMS program and would be happy to answer any questions you have about it. I did not end up going to Rochester - I am currently at Rice University in the Rice University/Baylor College of Medicine Medical Scholars Program (8-year combined program).

I think you most definitely have a chance - I would go for the medical programs!

If you've done research and you have above a 1500, definitely apply to the 7-year Physician-Scientist program at RPI/AMC (rensselaer polytechnic institute/albany medical college). The average is around 1500, 20 students accepted, all 20 end up in the top half at AMC, usually hogging the top 20, get a MD w/ Distinction in Research, 3 year undergrad at RPI, no MCATs, maintain a 3.4 GPA (very dooable), and its one of the oldest programs. Graduates include the president of Harvard Med's teaching hospital BWH. The program is also at least half indian just like all the others. I'm having a great time here.

Thanks for the replies. I am interested in applying to both the RPI and rochester med programs along with a couple others. Do you have any advice for the interviews?
