Despite FERPA and the college board’s recommendations, ISBE and the state of Illinois are requiring high schools to put SAT scores onto transcripts, even if they are cancelled or not sent to colleges. I am wondering if there is anyway way around this or if there are any pending FERPA lawsuits. I took the ACT and will not do as well as I did on the ACT on the SAT. I also am not planning to send my SAT anywhere. I given the school any consent to disclose my SAT, but it will be, regardless, once I apply to college. If anyone is in a similar situation and can help me out, please do; it would be much appreciated.

Good Luck and keep us Illinoisans posted about any resistance
Interesting. I am a graduating senior in IL and I had to take the ACT as part of the state requirement. However, my score does not appear anywhere on my official or unofficial transcript
