<p>We are new to Illinois. For those that live in Illinois, what websites or TV channels do you tune into for snow days? I go to a school in waukegan.</p>
<p>Usually the local news channels will have a continuous scroll across the bottom of the screen listing school, delay/cancel, etc. And most radio stations announce their lists every 20 to 30 minutes. Your school should be able to tell you which stations they contact when making the decisions.</p>
<p>I'm from Iowa, and that's how it works here. But I was born in Waukegan and lived there till I was 3 :)</p>
<p>We finally had a snowday in my district!! :) ;its been ten year since their last one.</p>
