Illinois State ACT Testing Results

No, it had to be rounded up. That’s another reason that I am unlikely to send it in to colleges.

I’m pretty satisfied ;]

^ nice.

I hope I get mine tomorrow = )

Hey, quick question guys. So, if we didn’t have an account prior to the test, we can’t get scores online? I made mine after the test, so I’d just like to know. Also, will making an account after the test interfere with me receiving the results in the mail?

I know of a couple people at my school that made their account the first day the scores were released and they got the scores right then. But for some reason i got mine in the mail and not online.

Just got mine!

And writing… 7. Haha, meaning combined english/writing 31. I thought I had completely failed the science portion so I was pretty upset during the writing part. Big mistake, but YAY regardless. I always get As in writing classes and have won some journalism awards so hopefully the poor writing score isn’t too much of a negative.

Does it matter if you get a 7 on the writing if your overall composite score is a 35.5 (rounded to a 36)?

35.0 = D Finally got that 35+

35 English

It makes me feel good that I didn’t get a .25 this time so that I don’t eat my self over missing one too many questions.

this sucked… i got a 28… :(

Composite: 28
English: 27 (i was expecting a 33+)
Math: 29
Reading: 26 (pretty good for my first time trying using the rushing speed reading method…)
Science: 29 (educated guess paid off)
Writing: 8 (i spent freaking half of the time writing my thesis and then noticed the time and rushed through it…)

now, i think i might actually have to take some practice test to study for the june test…
ill do it the last week… 28 isnt too bad (still quite bad) as i only studied for 3 hrs by going online and checking what i need in the writing section -.-…

I got a 28 too…hmmm. My reading score dropped dramatically :(

34 :)

Essay 8 :(

Combined English/Writing: 32

I took the April 10th test and got a 34. I thought I was set, so I didn’t take the state test so seriously. In fact, I thought I would actually do worse.

^Hey there, Noodleboy. Are you planning to register to every online forum that has to do with the ACT to boast your scores? Nah, I’m just kidding 8)

I’ve never taken an ACT before…is it worth it to retake to try for a 35 (which I think is achievable)?

You could have used your calculator. If you didn’t have a graphing one, you shot yourself in the foot, but that’s a really good score then for not even having a graphing calculator. (I had formulas programmed like crazy, lol  )

Dude, colleges probably don’t care between a 35.5 or a 35.75 or a 36 flat. A 35 on a certain section doesn’t mean you’re dumber than a kid who got a 36 on the same section, and vice versa because a 36 and a 35 is like 1 question. In fact, this kid I know got a 34 on the math section, but he’s better at math than I am.

retaking for 34/35 hopefully!

silverturtle…why in the world would you not send in a 36??? I think it would only help you.
Thats very impressive =)

When I have perfect numbers otherwise, including an impure 36 would not likely serve to improve my chance.
