Illustration Degrees/Concentrations at Non-Art Schools

Hi!
Looking for help in coming up with a list of NON-ART schools that offer BFA Illustration or BFA Art with an Illustration concentration for my daughter to start considering. I’ve found some schools on “best of” lists, but when we visit the school website can’t find any mention of illustration.

We already know about CSULB, CSUF, SJSU and U of Arizona. Also Syracuse - but that’s ruled out as too cold. She’s not opposed to cold weather (we’re in CA), but that’s cold on a whole different level!

Also if anyone has experience with schools (such as cal states) that admit without a portfolio, but require it by second year would love to hear about it.

Basic info:
4.7w / 4.0uw academic GPA with lots of AP
33 ACT
Decent EC but nothing crazy
Not expecting much, if any, financial aid, but hoping for some merit aid

The only school I know of is not a top rated school but she would probably qualify for a full ride based off their addmission index. SUU, a small school in Southern Utah close to all the national parks. They have a BFA Studio Arts Illustration emphasis. Or UofU has BFA Studio Arts painting/drawing, they also have a top rated animation program. I’m sure that doesn’t really help sorry. My daughter is wanting to go the same route and we won’t qualify for much financial aid either but we are trying to do a degree debt free so we’ve been concentrating on looking into programs in our state for now.

Yep, sorry most of my suggestions are East Coast based so cold (Syracuse, RIT and a few others)…Illustration is more common (and often more competitive to get in) at more traditional art colleges.
